• Pay Range: $20 - $24 per hour (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol and Protection: Perform routine patrols to deter potential threats and respond to incidents.• Armed Response: Carry and maintain proficiency in the use of assigned firearms in compliance with all regulations and safety standards.
• Emergency Handling: React quickly and effectively to emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement as needed.
• Detailed Reporting: Prepare detailed incident reports, maintaining accurate records and logs of all activities.
• Conflict De-escalation: Utilize communication skills to calmly diffuse tense situations, ensuring a safe resolution.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Valid DPSST Armed and Unarmed security license
• Completion of firearms training and certification
• Ability to pass an extensive background check and drug screening
• Military or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required
Position: Unarmed Security Officer
• Pay Range: $18 - $22 per hour (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol and Observation: Conduct frequent foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned properties or areas.• Access Control: Check identification, screen visitors, and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
• Incident Reporting: Document daily activities, report any suspicious activity or security breaches, and follow established protocols.
• Customer Service: Provide a welcoming presence to visitors and staff, offering directions and assistance when needed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and legal regulations, contributing to a secure workplace.
Additional Opportunity:
• Armed Upgrade Sponsorship: Qualified Unarmed Officers who meet company standards and age requirements are eligible for a company-sponsored upgrade to Armed Security Officer status.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years old
• Unarmed DPSST Security License
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Previous security and customer service experience of one year or more is preferred
General Qualifications for Both Positions:
• Ballistic Vest: Must possess or be willing to acquire a minimum Level IIIA ballistic vest.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• High level of integrity and reliability.
• Willingness to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
